  • I agree with that, Dragon. Jennifer Hudson is incredible. Just FINALLY saw Dreamgirls for the first time a few weeks ago and man...I was just beyond impressed by her.

  • I have never said that bigotry led to Adam's defeat. I have maintained - and I will continue to maintain - that his sexuality WAS an issue, as evidenced by the coverage it received in the mainstream media.

  • Yes, and DWTS also allows voting online - a certain number of votes per email address or phone number, and I believe you can also text as well. I really wish Idol allowed voting online. As far as I know, DWTS has never had technical problems with that.

  • Wolverton - Allison has already had a record contract. I would say that makes her "too experienced" too - even if she is only 16. Melinda Doolittle was a professional back up singer, and in her season another one of the contestants was as well. Carly Smithson had a flop of a record.

  • Once and for all - it has been made an issue EVERYWHERE. I cannot count how many articles I have read where they reference the possibility of Adam being gay. MSNBC had a headline that read "Is America ready for a gay American Idol?" and I saw similar stories elsewhere online.

  • I didn't think Lil was that bad! But I've been a big fan of hers since the beginning. I don't know if that song really suited her voice. I wonder if they had any input as to who they were going to perform with?
